using madtracker live?
Reply with quote

Hi folks!
I've been tracking for many years now, and that's my one and only musicmakingtool. But I was wondering about the possibilities using madtracker live, eventually with any additional progs. Anybody plaid a liveset with trackermusic here? Any suggestions how to play live? Tips, tricks?

Whoa, like live how? At a staged show? Cause if so then well, get a mixer (perferably powered), hook up your instrament and hook up your pc each on individual tracks, hook up speakers/monitors (note: thier the same thing) hit play, and play along. And yea, I always use madtracker to play live, but not sets, not yet. I dont think my musics ready yet, even though it sounds good (from what people tell me) but I'm going for something with madtracker unachived yet, I may never get thier but I wont quit ever, and thats all that matters.

I'm pretty sure someone on here talked about having used MT live on stage. It was a while ago though, don't remember who it was Sad

i sort of do it, not on a stage yet (cause i dont have a lap top). the next mixed CD that i'll record will have a madtracker part in it- the 1st track will in fact be played live on MT2 (so i can control each element separately - and that's the coolest part), while the next track gets mixed into it.

so if anyone wants a copy i'll let you know when it's done.

Yup. Surely interested too. Willing to publish it online in a streaming format for a certain amount of time too on my Dutch alternative dance site.
