thanks everybody for explaning it to me......
I checked out the pages, and i have read it carefully.I only make traxx for myself(ofcourse all my mates got cd's from me)and will never send them to a record company,so the music keeps underground........so,i think it will be no problem for me if i wanna rip some,i never did such a thing, but i am now (for the first time) creating a remix of an existing file.

i think it is something like aphrodite, but i make much louder breakz...........but i must say aphrodite is one of my favorites in the drum&bass scene, but no one on this earth will (in my few) be beter than Altern 8,that's my favorite group(everything complete)i geuss because everything they made was with fasttracker(still one of the best trackers i have worked with).

i don,t think i will ever get a track online, this is the first time,in my 26 years on earth,i,ve got internet,so i don,t know how to do that, and if i ever know,i would only place an mp3,never a mt2.file.So they cannot rip from me,or see how i make a track.......i don,t understand why others put their tracks online as xm or mt2.Everybody can see how they create and also can it be ripped,or do i see it wrong?

The way I see it, it's all about sharing and learning. That's what life is about, and who gives an feck about how one makes it.. If it's good,it's good, and if it's crap,well.....

MP3 or mt, doesn't matter...A'it!!? Wink

Well, the reason I've put some of my tunes online as mt2's is because I've learned so much about about making music in trackers by checking through other's songs, I feel it's only right to return the favour. Hopefully, people that are new to the scene can learn something from them. Like inhousepussy said, it's all about sharing and learning Wink

Agreed to a 100%
I just feel sorry for the ones that starts with tracking nowadays, there aren't so much stuff to learn from anymore because of all the mp3 ogg etc. releases. I don't mind sharing my source files when the file size allows it. And I would personally just be flattered if someone got ideas out of my music, it's not like they are going to end up on records anyway Smile This is why I think the new hosting thing Yannick thought about sounds so nice, if just enough people would start useing it, but maybe that's just a little dream....

Yea, I was a little questionable about vst implementation too. But now that it’s in, theirs no stopping me from using it. Cause for one, if it sounds good, do it, if you don’t then who is really being blind unto themselves. Because only you can define what you like, and that is were great music is. So find it everywhere you can, if it’s not in vst then so be it, but if you find something cool within it, do it. Besides music is easy, music is so easy that its insane people are making multi millions off the stuff. But that’s life, and I'm apart of the con Laughing.

Oh and the wav thing, I've gotten uhmm... stereo 44khz about 8 min's worth, and multiple instances of it, and works quite well. I use a lot of recordings for my songs in MadTracker; it’s a lot easier then writing a riff note by note in MadTracker. ok maybe not easier but quicker, for sure.

I agree with QBical. It's the results that matter, not what software you may or may not use. Everyone has their own favorite software that they like to use. Some people like MadTracker, some like FL Studio, some prefer Cubase -- the point is, people shouldn't waste their time telling the world that something is "crap", just because they prefer to use something else. There are advantages and disadvantages in all music software and nothing will ever be perfect.

Create whatever you want using whatever software you prefer to use or have access to. Once it's converted to .wav or .mp3, the majority of people don't care how it was made. If it's good, people will listen.

Just don't ever fall into the trap of "a bad workman always blaming his tools" Smile
