Right, was bored, found myself remixing the Chocobo Theme from Final Fantasy, finished and uploaded to Lulu.com, much MUCH better than GeoShitties.

It's some kind of funky jazzy breakbeat chiptune house tune, funky breakhouse for short.

Not my favorite style, but it's a good varied remix. Not boring at all. So good job on the arrangement. Sounds are fine too, nothing to comment on that.
Which Final Fantasy is the chocobo theme based on? The one from FF9 seems to play a little faster, but maybe this is a sonic illusion created by the other instruments 
Volume of the first instrument is too loud in most parts. It pushes the rest of the song to the background. If you lower the volumes there the song probably comes out better and it makes the song more dynamical too.
and it could use a subtile bassline. There's something missing in the lower end of the spectrum.
For a moment I feared you needed to fill in an extensive member form to be able to download a song, but luckily it's rather painless. Just enter an emailaddress and if you haven't subscribed yet, your password twice. Makes downloading fast and easy. |

Ahh, see, I haven't played FF9.
I've only played 1, 3, seen a bit of 6, played 7, 8, and I'm still playing 10.
So yeah, I'm just basing this remix off the generic tune of the theme. I think.

Oh, I've tried and tried to add that subtile bassline, but the compressor doesn't seem to like it, and shuts it off for some reason. |

That's the only downside, but there's an upside to that downside. All you have to do is enter in your e-mail address and your password twice, untick that "Send me useless CRAP!" box, and tada. |
