 |
A while ago I found a old tape of mine with some old tunes of my on it. I was so excited because these tunes are maybe my best work
In the past my dad and me shared the same computer and after a fight he deleated all my stuff, so unfortanatly this tape recordings is all that is left of my past (tracking history)
I sampled the tape and edited these songs using cool edit to boost up the quality.
So here is the first of three songs:
http://www.ctgmusic.com/ctg/song.php?id=4109
It's a kind of expermintal/dark breakbeat tune
Have fun listning!
(yes it's a slow download but beleave me it's worth it )
One of my best songs, don't forget :

niiiiccee!! i like the breaks you did in this one. big fan of the nu skool break sound i am, but what i missed was a fatass bass line to go with the track..

It indeed sounds oldschool, but still very nice break programming. A more distinct theme might have been nice, but it has some very nice components with respect to beats and atmosphere.
I'm thinking myself of opening a sticky thread for people who want to publish old music of theirselves. I was running through my hdd this month, and ran into some fantastic old trance stuff I did back when I enjoyed doing trance If anyone is interested into opening up a small archive of old songs, let me know in this thread. I won't offer webspace, but most users here have their mt.net accounts, and a spare 5 mb can always be found somewhere

Thanx to all for those positive responces!!
Btw, If someone is able to recreate this tune, please, please do so and let me know your progress
About Inge's Idea, can't say more than thumbs up!
I think it would be cool to add our unfinshed old songs to, Songs your stuck in, just that people can try to finish what you started.

Hehe Factor, I wasn't aware of you being able to actually come up with a good idea
Indeed that would rock big time, since we certainly all have unfinished stuff flying around *looks over shoulder* (or, to say it in "lollie-speak": *sweatdrop* )
Sadly, I can't offer any webspace since mine is stuffed atm (damn you Factor ), but there's always a way
