Nice tunes!
Cool melodies.
This reminds me of the tracks I made on my Amiga with protracker!
Very nice....I like it!
Would love to have a version with VST´s though |

Thank you so far for your replies, and particularly for your compliments, didnīt expect you would like it.
i may look like an idiot now, for im really a noob and i donīt have the foggiest notion of how vst works, i have never even heard of vst before and thatīs no joke.
i would be very greatful 4 one of you to explain to me what exactly vst is, how it works, and how to use it. iīve searched for vsts, and downloaded some, but as i said, i have no idea how to use them.
in case, you think your answer must cause this forum to be used for purposes other than intended, write me an email to
chris.dogma@googlemail.com
thank you an i hope i donīt look like a dweeb to ya now.

Nah, all of us have had to ask advice at one point or other. Comes with the territory. Though Yannick did his best on the interface, trackers are inherently non-intuitive.
Don't sweat it man!
As for VSTs, go to plugins at the top, browse to the .dll file you downloaded, load it. Then double click that plugin you just loaded and it will give you a control panel. This is where you change the sound parameters for the VST. Also, most VSTs have a list of presets for commonly used sounds.
Speaking of VSTs, you will need a VST to load soundfonts in. Soundfonts are best gotten at Hammersound and you first load the VST that will interface with soundfonts, then in the VST control panel load the soundfont. At the behest of oldbrian, I recommend paax2 for a soundfont interface VST. |

Easy to convert to mp3. Get all2lame or razorlame.
For all other formats, get dBpowerAMP.
But if you are editing it further, I'd recommend converting to wav instead of mp3. mp3 loses quality faster than a man with a leg chopped off loses blood. |

Ooooooh, I get it! Sorry, I thought you had exported it already and wanted to convert it from wav to mp3. My bad.
No, it would be unethical for us to take your mt2 file and export it for you. Kind of cheating Yannick y'know. |

hah great melodies seriously its superb, I luv the guitar
but please start using VSTS, your tracking skills are great

Why do you insist on VSTs? Are they better quality sound than samples and soundfonts? I thought they were supposed to sound more synthetic, and therefore not be as good. |

well u see i would only get the wave converter for 40 bucks. i have all the other stuff allready, i have webspace and my own doamins, and so on and so on. i donīt ask you to cheat yannick, cheating yannick, would mean to get a converter illegal, i donīt want that iīm gonna buy the converter myself, wehn iīm good in finance again, i just need this one song exported, itīs pretty important.
the other way would be recording it, old scool, with good hardware, it would just cost more time, thatīs why i asked you this time. but of course i can understand that you deny it. |
