 |
Yo,
I'm busy building a VSTi sort of a sampler but with a video cut up system to make cuts which are nearly impossible with the video programs as adobe premiere and final cut pro,..
the only thing is, it works fine as an standalone application, but when i use it as VSTi for instance in cubase SX2, the video is much to slow with his reaction... and a low framerate..
I believe it's not too much for my computer. cubase SX and the standalone application runs very well,..
Does anyone has experience with it or tips..
thanks!

This sounds very interesting, are you making a sampler that allows the use of AVI files? Please explain further...
BTW: if anyone is interested, you can drop AVIs and MPEGs directly into GOLDWAVE to extract the sound. |

What you ask is is pretty technical. Where do you update the video? In the idle() call of the VST or in a seperate thread/timer? If it's the first, then you'll be dependent of the host. If it's the second, you shouldn't have any problem.

yes you can use avi's (with sound) and control them with midi, it's based on quicktime. If it all gonna work well there will also be sync audio-visual effects in it...
ight!
