 |
Hi!
I have a little problem.
I get some strange noise when using some VSTi. It sounds like a recording made outside in a windy place. It's not dependent on number of VSTs or type of VST, just a single VST instrument will be neough to get the wind going. The wind is not just in MT but also in the rendered wavs.
Am I the only one to have experienced this? |

Can you specify which VSTi's have this problem? |

And is this ´wind´ also blowing when the vsti is loaded, but not playing (The song inside madtracker is playing, but the vsti doesn´t reseive any notes). |

No, just when triggered.
But the noise doesn't just sound when the VST plays a sound but also in between the triggered notes. Just like a reverb or slow decay. |

Btw, if you listen to the more quiet parts of the soundtrack to "The Paper" you can hear for yourself what "wind" I am talking about.
The link to the short animation is on my homepage:

Listen in the beginning, the music box thingy, before it evolves into piano. And also in the end of the clip, the end credits. There is no sfx in the beckground, just the score.
Hehe, I just invented a new way of promoting a movie
...and a home page.
Well, honestly, it's not my intention.
Besides, you have a free will. Right? |

I ment a nagsound from the VST, not from GOD Delwiche.
Nagsound is a feature that can easily be implemented in Synthedit VSTs.I dont think it is Madtracker that genereates the sound... |

well what are the VST's that u use then?
Possibly you've set the release or attack envelope of a noise generator within the a synth wrong...
But if you provide us with a list of the VST's then we might be able to help you...
