Im hoping someone can help me.
Theres a little story behind this...
I reformated my pc as it was giving me probs, reloaded windows and all the rest of my software. Opened my project adn all worked 100%. But my Pc was running worse than it did before, so i reformated my pc again.. This time the pc was running just the way i wanted it to, but the Waves plugins that i used with the VB_ffx4.dll dont load anymore.
PLEASE tell me someone can help. Need the track for the label that is signing it.

What would make the most sense:
-Make sure you're using the latest version of both the Waves-plugins and the VB_ffx4.dll
-Can other DX-plugins be loaded? This way you can figure out which one messes up: Waves or the DX-wrapper
-Try the waveshell-plugin that comes bundles with the Waves-plugin to use them in native mode. I don't think it can save parameters, but you can check if it works that way.
-Delete all recognized plugins (ctrl-f for configuration, tab plugins, click 'clear all') and re-scan all your plugins.
-If you're really in haste: find an alternative plugin. I know the Waves-plugin are pretty much the best in town (reverb, maximizer and c4 are massive), but it's either that or nothing. |

HI Inge.
This is what i have found out so far. If i make a new song and save it with the VB_ffx4 loaded with waves plugings, it reloads when i open the song later. My project that i want to open, loads the VB_ffx4 plugin, but no waves plugins, although i can add dx plugins into it. So the waves plugins are there for me to pick from, just doesnt want to load for the track.
I guess i should just redo it again.
Thanx for the help.
I'll try clearing all my vsts again and try it again. |

Hi there!
Thats because you have to install all dx plugins that you have used in ffx4 to the exact same path as you had before system reinstall. It sux yes
There should have been a huge warning when you installed ffx4 that you must remember to backup its config files.

This is a known issue with FFX4 (not only with MT according to its author). I even tried to solve it with the help of the author, but without success. I have no news from him since then.
Maybe you can see if there is a new version on his website.
