Hi. I was just wondering why the effects (such as set cut-off, portamento up/down, etc.) don't work with VST plugins. Or if they do what am I doing wrong? is there any other way of doing this (particularly cut-off). Also how come the instruments seem to change sound even when using the same note. e.g. i was using SUPERWAVEP8 and i would select an instrument/sound. i noticed when playing the same note over and over again the sound would change, sometimes going quiet or louder, and so on. Can anyone help me with these problems? |

Do you have the release of the VSTi set to its minimum? |

hi.
i'm not sure, but i think all synthesizers made with synthedit do not work properly in madtracker concerning portamento/glide.
if you want to have a good sounding synthesizer which works 100%, just try out asynth which was not made with synthedit. |

the easiest way to control the cutoff-frequency of a vsti is via automation.
you can also do this with CCs. Just look into the manual of the vsti which number corresponds to cut-off. |
