Hi, I`m having a problem I dont know how to resolve. All sound is directed to my left channel (both channels). I cant overide it from the sound settings in windows - and I dont get any error messages?? I installed a webcam (Creative Live Effects) yesterday - and also a mic to go with it, but that shouldnt interfere, should it?? Any hints is appreciated!

Three ideas: 1: Uninstall the webcam 2: Try another audio cable from your soundcard to your amplifier / mixing desk 3: See if the soundcard uses its own mixer software and check the panning settings there.

Thanks, Inge. I tried to uninstall the webcam but it had no effect - so I might have to reinstall my soundcard. Anyway I have taken the trouble of filling out a form to Creative support - so perhaps they will come up with a solution. I thought that webcams where supposed to be pretty stable these days but a look at the Creative messageboards has changed my view. EDIT: The problem was caused by a loose cable

ok let's all have a big laugh at martin rofl ( don't feel bad martin you have no idea how many times I've had that same problem )

That won't happen the second time, that's for sure ... As q said, it happens to all of us once in a while, just be happy that nothing is really f*cked up
