Cicindela ancocisconensis,White Mt. Tiger Beetle. Habitat: Shaded gravel & sandbanks on mt. brooks & small rivers with large boulders. Recorded only from two sites in central & southern VT. but probably widespread in mts
 
 
 
 
Cicindela limbalis, Clay Bank Tiger Beetle 
 
Habitat: Bare sloping clay soil, as in abandoned hill farms & roadcuts. Recorded only from hilly regions in northern part of Vt. Probably general except for the Champlain Valley
 
 
 
 
Cicindela patruela patruela,Patterned Green Tiger Beetle
 
Habitat: Sand with Jack Pine, sweet fern, blueberry. Recorded only once in the 19 th century from Burlington
 
 
 
 
Cicindela purpurea purpurea, Cow Path Tiger Beetle 
 
Habitat: BARE level clay soil, upland species not near water, sparsely vegetated meadows, roadsides. Recorded throughout VT
