 |
What actual uses does rewire possess? I know you can run madtracker in Cubase for instance but what benefits do you get from doing that?
Is rewire particularly useful for mastering? I know cubase has a lot of effects etc. What other uses can rewire bring to madtracker? |

For me rewire is good because I have hardware synths which I can control in Cubase at the same time as I can use Madtracker for full sample control..
Since Madtracker supports VST you can mix/master your track directly in Madtracker with great result nowadays. Cubase does not have any effect in particular that is better than the ones you can download or buy which is compatible with Madtracker.

I would say that I use both for composing/producing ..
But Madtracker 2 is more to make wierd stuff with samples (like rhythm samples) and Cubase might be more to make lines with more "sense"..
Dunno how to explain it better.
