 |
Hi,
I have an ESI Neon with knobs that should send Midi CC.
It does work in other programs but i cant get it to work with MT2. The vst's in MT2 do not respond to the midi CC and MT2 does not record any knob movements.
Does anyone know how i get this to work?
Tnx,
Emile |

i dont think madtracker has full midi support, so you basically wont get it to work. |

Madtracker can transmit midi CC... so i must be doing something wrong cause it is not receiving any midi CC... |

You can only input midi-pitch information ( the keys ) knobs and other relative controls arent supported. |

Not entirely useless, but hard and slow to use, when doing automations for plugins.
This is only thing I really miss in madtracker. It should really have some kind of "midi-learn" and "record automation" -buttons in VST-windows!! |

hmm next to the pitch madtracker also records the velocity, and you can handle midi-CC values by using some effect, forgot what that was, though...
Anyway, you can select in the VST-i to use the velocity as a modulation input then you can do some nice things with that... |
