Instrument echo

Say I have an instrument, a string. I make a chord, let it play, and then use the 'capslock' fadeout.
And slowly the string dies, like it should..
.. suddenly the string starts to play again, like an short echo, without any notes inserted there.

When switching to Fasttracker mode, this problem does not occur, only in Madtracker mode.

This phenomenon only occur with some instruments, not all.

I don't know what is causing this, and it's quite frustrating. Anyone know why?

Does this problem occur with MT 2.3.2 or MT 2.5.0 or both?

I think it's maybe due to the volume envelope. Does your instrument have a volume envelope? If so, does it end at the end of the window?

I just downloaded the 2.5.0 version, and with this, the problem didn't occur! Very nice, thanx for the tip.
Strange though..

I checked the volume rampling, and in this, the volume was shut down long before the end. When playing the instrument and watching the progress on the volume, I saw that the echo occured when the sample was finished playing, and that this echo was much louder, as if the volume rampling is irrelevant to it.

Since it is a string, it has ping-pong. With this off, the echo isn't there, but ofcourse, the sample beeing unusable.
