With the time knob at 12 o'clock an echo is produced at 2 beats per bar in a project set at 140 bpm. The azimuth control increases a delay of a few milliseconds between the left and right echo return, similar to tilting the playback head on a tape machine, this makes the echoes sound wider and behind the source sound.

Nanotron is a recreation of a Mellotron/Novatron that I owned through the 80's, the voices were recorded using a Studer A80 in 1979, the tape developed oxide failure in 1990 and was transferred to DAT, the DAT was lost and later found in my attic in 2002, I then set to work cleaning up the recordings, correcting pitch errors etc.
The three voice tracks are A: Male/Female Choir B: String Orchestra C: Flute
[This is quite a large download (20MB), This is due to the long samples required for an authentic sound.] Price: Free Difficulty: easy CPU: low |

This is good for producing those rich deep basses of the 70's analogue synths, There are two ramp wave oscillators and a detune slider that simultaneously sharpens one oscillator and flattens the other to get a fat sound.

Dream Sequencer is for that sequencing sound of the 70's as produced by Tangerine Dream etc. The VSTi synchronizes with the host bpm and takes its root key from a "midi note" and plays for the duration from "note on" until "note off". The pitch knobs are quantized to semitones with a range of one octave.

Transcender has minimal controls for fast and easy tweaking, but there's a lot going on inside, it features a single slider to mathematically detune a large bank of oscillators mixed in stereo through twin low pass filters, there's a slider on the output to control the stereo width. Transcender was primarily designed for trance leads, but can produce quite a range sounds.
