The RM IV is a flexible and easy-to-use drum machine that combines analog-style percussion synthesis with a fully featured, intelligent percussion sampler. Built using LinPlug's enhanced high-quality audio engine, the RM IV features 18 velocity-sensitive Drum Pads that can be used to trigger any of many different Audio Generator Modules. The RM IV includes 10 percussion synthesis algorithms, as well as a fully featured percussion sampler.
The 10 Synthesis modules offer enormous creative potential and are able to create anything from classic analog drum sounds to the cutting edge sounds of contemporary music. The Sampler module provides single-sample, multi-sample, velocity-layer and velocity-crossfade support. The instrument also includes an AHDSR-controlled multimode filter, a compressor designed specifically for percussion sounds, a flexible "Humanizer" and a 6 x 6 Modulation Matrix.
toad is a drumkit based on the classic nintendo entertainment system. excellent quality percussive bits are here in abundance.version 1.1 adds a new graphical interface, and several performance enhancements.
Slayer 2 starts from where its predecessor left off. In particular, the physical model of the guitar has been completely revamped, improving the quality of the simulation dramatically. Not only does Slayer 2 sound a whole lot better, it is also much more flexible.
Up to 16 effects can now be used simultaneously; half of them before, and half of them after the amplifier. You can place any of the sixteen available stomp-box effects in any of the sixteen available effect slots. When you want to change the order of the effects, just drag'n'drop.
Astonishingly authentic acoustic guitars can be created by altering the size and material used for the guitar-body.
There are also new playing-aids - two new string-types, two new amplifiers and two new cabinets.
The interface graphics have been revamped too. Slayer 2 has a completely new, elegant and refreshing look. The whole look'n'feel makes it much easier and faster to use.
Supplied as a bonus plug-in, a special treat is the effects-only version of Slayer 2. With its own virtual amplifiers and effect pedals, you can even use Slayer 2 on your own guitar! Play your guitar live and Slayer 2 will mangle, smash and contort it to meet your needs.
4Front Rhode is a vintage Rhodes/Wurly typed piano module with gentle overdrive.
This module reproduces the classic sound similar to Rhodes/Wurlitzer pianos. The module is not sample based, the sound is generated on-the-fly, therefore there are 127 layers with vintage rhodes smooth overdrive, clean and continuous.
If you need an electric piano but are looking for something more than the usual Rhodes or Whurlitzer clone, then Clavia Lab is the instrument for you.
This is a hybrid analog/physical model using experimental techniques to create the complex changing harmonic content of an electric piano. Features include:
source, amplifier and modulation sections give you plenty of control over tone and play dynamics precise control over all parameters - knobs have around 120 steps VU meter indicates when tone is likely to distort (distortion is actually very pleasant in most cases) 8 presets plus room for 8 more lots of potential for experimentation.
It should be noted that CPU usage is quite high with this one and a minimum 1.2GHz processor is recommended, although it will work (if the playing is not too busy) on an 800MHz processor.
